Join your colleagues in this half day workshop to gain knowledge in emergency response.
Participants will learn:
● Key roles and responsibilities of an emergency response team
● Health and safety issues in emergency response work
● Salvage priorities and procedures for various archival records

About the Instructor:
Iona McCraith is currently the AAO Archives Advisor. Since 2000, she has also maintained a private practice as a heritage consultant and archival materials conservator.
Previously Iona was employed as Senior Conservator, City of Toronto Archives (1983-1991); Head Conservator, Archives of Ontario (1991-1999); AAO Preservation Consultant (1999-2012) and sessional instructor, Collections Conservation and Management Program, Fleming College, (1999 -2005).
