Do you need an Emergency Plan, but don’t know how to develop one? Do you have a Plan, but it needs updating? Join your colleagues in this half-day workshop to gain knowledge in emergency planning.
Participants will learn:
● Risk assessment for your institution
● Risk mitigation
● Elements of an Emergency Plan
● Basic work space and essential supplies for salvage operation

About the Instructor:
Iona McCraith is currently the AAO Archives Advisor. Since 2000, she has also maintained a private practice as a heritage consultant and archival materials conservator.
Previously Iona was employed as Senior Conservator, City of Toronto Archives (1983-1991); Head Conservator, Archives of Ontario (1991-1999); AAO Preservation Consultant (1999-2012) and sessional instructor, Collections Conservation and Management Program, Fleming College, (1999 -2005).
