The AAO’s Professional Development Committee presents an
Introduction to Archeion
Have you used Archeion before and want a refresher? Or are you brand new to it and want to learn more? Use AtoM and need a refresher? Lisa Snider, the AAO’s Archeion Coordinator, will be presenting this two hour virtual workshop that will go over all the basics.
The first hour will be focused on the search, site categories, clipboard and use of Archeion by archivists and researchers. Then the second hour will show you how to log in, add an authority record and add a draft of an archival description. We will also discuss digital objects, bulk uploads, taxonomies, etc., and the Archeion Coordinator will answer all your questions about using Archeion (and AtoM). We hope to see you there!
When: 15 May 2020, 2 pm to 4 pm
Where: An email with instructions to join the online platform will be sent closer to the workshop date.
Cost: FREE for members; $20 non-members
