AAO Wikipedia Edit-a-thon - FREE EVENT

Ontario archivists (and champions of archives!) are invited to participate in an edit-a-thon focused on Ontario’s archives and archival collections. New and experienced users are welcomed to contribute to the improvement or creation of pages related to Ontario archives and the people, events or organizations reflected in Ontario’s archival collections.

Possible activities include the:

• Improvement or creation of content
• Integration of information about and links to archival fonds and collections held in Ontario archives
• Addition of references to existing pages.
• Uploading of public domain, Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) or Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike (CC-BY-SA) images

The Wikipedia Edit-a-thon is a Free! event that will be will be hosted by the University of Toronto, Faculty of Information from 2 to 5 pm. The edit-a-thon will be held in the Claude Bissell Building, room 278.

Maximum participation is 20.
