Thunder Bay is located at the west end of Lake Superior. There are a number of ways to get here. For those coming from the east the drive along the north shore of Lake Superior is one of the most spectacular in Canada. For those coming from the west the drive is less spectacular but still scenic! You should allow one day for the drive from Winnipeg and two days for the drive from Toronto or Ottawa.
