Getting down with Copyright

The Archives Association of Ontario – Eastern Chapter, AAOEe invite you to join us for a Copyright Workshop!

It is more exciting than you know!

Understanding copyright is critical for the Archives, Heritage and Culture Sector.  And it is doubly so for the researcher and user of copyrighted material.

Archivists Theresa Sorel and John Lund will provide a one day workshop on copyright.  Theresa will provide the fundamentals, while John will look at copyright trends and what is the future of intellectual property rights in a world where the sharing culture is a consumable. 

When: October 4, 2018, 9am to 4pm

Where: City of Ottawa Archives, 100 Tallwood Drive, Room 115

A light lunch will be provided.
