Why not spend some of the new fiscal year's professional development money with taag?

We have a great half-day workshop on housing archival photographic collections with conservator Rose Newlove lined up for the morning of Monday 12 May, graciously hosted at the Anglican Church of Canada.

In this half day workshop we will explore the primary housing of photographic records. We depend on housing to support & protect as well as ease accessibility to these materials. Good choices are important and decisions depend on several factors such as type of photographic process, condition of the item, environmental conditions, budget and time.

We will look at samples of housing materials and techniques for a variety of formats including cased, mounted, panoramic, loose prints and negatives and albums, then make some models as time allows.

When: Monday 12 May 2014 from 9am to 1pm
Attendance: min. 7 participants, max. 20*
