Navigating construction in Waterloo Park

09 May 2018 3:00 PM | Danielle Robichaud (Administrator)

Those of you planning to walk to the University of Waterloo or Laurier campuses over the next two days via the Uptown area of Waterloo/south end of Waterloo Park, are guaranteed to hit some kind of construction along the way, but don't get discouraged! There mini ponies and freshly hatched baby goslings are worth the effort.

  • There is a Twitter account sharing status reports about open and closed routes through the park. This update has the most recent report.
  • If Twitter isn't for you, there are also general updates regarding Upgrades to the Central Promenade available online via the City of Waterloo.
  • The farm animals, geese and other wild life are all found to the right of the promenade (Zone C and D) on the maps.
