The AAO's Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are small groups set up and organized by groups of archivists with a common mandate or interest. These groups meet regularly to discuss concerns or to plan special events.  Currently, the Archives Association of Ontario has two SIGs:

The Association of Independent School Archivists (AISA)
The Municipal Archives Interest Group (MAIG)

Archivists with other common interests are encouraged to investigate setting up their own interest group.  If you need advice on how to do this, contact the AAO Board.
