File Folders to Facebook: The Evolution of the Information Management and Archives Program at the Region of Waterloo

Once a small introspective group of staff dedicated to manual file systems, forms management and records inventories, the Information Management and Archives program has developed into a respected group of dedicated information professionals faced with a multitude of information challenges.  This session will walk through the history of the program explaining how leadership and communication were key factors in the development of the Region of Waterloo Archives, the growing pains of implementing an Electronic Document Management System and the strengthening of relationships throughout the organization including IT.

 To be followed by a lunch and facility tour.
Lunch is $20.00 - payable at the door.
