#2 Event Planning & Promoting Collections using Social Media (1:00 pm to 4:00 pm)

Are you interested in learning the skills needed to successfully plan events to encourage community support for your institution. Learn how to economize your time in preparation, and how to organize these events so that they are geared to success. This workshop addresses such issues as:

  • Learn detailed howto's to run a successful event
  • Determine how objectives and budgets drive event planning
  • Acquire tips for creating effective communication packages using social media
  • Identify a critical tasks timeline for the event's success
  • Develop criteria for evaluating events

The workshop will be instructed by Archivist, TBA.

Light refreshments will be provided.
