Preservation Basics for Analog and Digital Collections
The Online Course – Ten Sessions

The Preservation 101 course provides a foundation for effective collections stewardship, prepares participants to complete a preservation needs assessment, and provides structured guidance on developing an institutional disaster plan. Participants interact with their cohorts and the course instructor through the online classroom and live chat during each webinar.
Who Should Attend?
Staff of cultural institutions, government record keepers, or corporate archivists who have taken on a preservation role; who are prioritizing preservation activities; or who are advocating for larger preservation projects. Students are welcome!
