Young Canada Works 2015 Campaign Launched

03 Dec 2014 5:06 PM | Iona McCraith (Administrator)

The Canadian Council of Archives is pleased to announce that the 2015 campaign for the program Young Canada Works (YCW) in Heritage Organizations has been launched. Archival institutions are now able to apply online for both summer projects and internships via the YCW official web site.  Internships can be for recent graduates  as well as returning students and can be for longer term than summer jobs.  So take advantage of this excellent opportunity for financial assistance to complete special projects in your archives.

For more information, please visit the CCA web site (www.cdncouncilarchives.ca/YCW.html) and the YCW website (www.youngcanadaworks.ca/index-eng.cfm) where you will find the links for the program's Guidelines and application forms.

IMPORTANT: The application deadline for both the summer projects and the internships is February 2, 2015.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Louise Charlebois (lcharlebois@archivescanada.ca) or Isabelle Alain (ialain@archivescanada.ca).
